MLA Prasad Abbayya Accuses BJP of Manufacturing Controversy for Political Gain
Hubballi: MLA Prasad Abbayya has criticized the BJP, accusing them of consistently seeking controversy during elections. Speaking to reporters about the arrest of Karasevak Srikanth Poojari, Abbayya stated that the BJP is attempting to turn routine police work into a contentious issue in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Abbayya emphasized that Srikanth’s arrest was part of the standard police procedure, but the BJP is attempting to exploit it for political gain and incite public sentiments.
According to Abbayya, the BJP lacks substantive issues to protest within the state, which is why they are resorting to provoking sentiments unnecessarily.
