Vijayapura: Thieves Steal Rs 3.60 Lakh from ATM Using Gas Cutter

In Vijayapura district, a robbery took place where thieves decamped with Rs 3.60 lakh in cash from an ATM (automated teller machine). The accused gained entry into an ATM of India One Bank, located in Shivanagi village, Vijayapura taluk.

They used a gas cutter to break open the ATM and successfully made off with the cash. To avoid detection, the thieves also painted the CCTV camera using colour sprayers installed at the ATM site. The Vijayapura Rural police have registered a case and investigation is going on.
