Shivraj, who alongside his father earned a living by catching and killing snakes, reportedly attempted the dangerous stunt to gain fame on social media.

Local reports say Shivraj’s father encouraged him to put the snake in his mouth while recording a video. The clip, which is now circulating online, shows Shivraj standing on a road, posing for the camera with folded hands before casually running his hand through his hair, while the cobra struggles to break free. The video ends with Shivraj giving a thumbs-up, leaving viewers horrified by the recklessness of the act.

Social media users have expressed their shock, with many criticizing the dangerous pursuit of internet fame.

This incident follows a similar case from July in Andhra Pradesh, where a drunk man was hospitalized after provoking a venomous cobra for over an hour. Despite warnings from bystanders, Madhubabu Nagaraju ignored them and continued playing with the snake, which eventually bit him.
