Bengaluru, June 9, 2025: Bengaluru’s tech-savvy residents woke up to an exciting announcement this evening as Vodafone Idea (Vi) began rolling out a trial phase of its much-anticipated 5G services for select customers. Many Vi users in the city and in the state have received an SMS notification confirming their eligibility, inviting them to experience the next generation of mobile connectivity.
The message, which landed in inboxes across the state on the evening of June 9th, simply stated: “We are excited to announce a trial phase of Vi 5G in Bengaluru for select customers! Enjoy Unlimited 5G data while we continue to refine the Vi 5G experience.”
