Ukrainian Forces Launch Massive Attacks on Belgorod: 30 Settlements Targeted

Ukrainian forces launched attacks on over 30 settlements in Russia‘s Belgorod region within the last 24 hours, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov’s statement on Saturday. The strikes affected nine districts and resulted in five injuries, as reported in a Telegram update by Gladkov.

In response to the escalating situation, Russia declared a federal-level state of emergency in Belgorod last week amid ongoing offensives by Ukrainian troops near its borders. The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday that their forces have been actively countering the Ukrainian assaults, claiming that Ukraine has suffered losses of more than 360 soldiers and 29 armored vehicles in the same time frame.
