Tragedy Strikes Illinois Home: Mother and Three Daughters Killed in Domestic Violence Shooting

In a tragic incident of domestic violence, a mother and her three daughters lost their lives due to a shooting in a suburban Illinois residence, authorities reported.

Responding swiftly to a 911 call around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday in Tinley Park, located approximately 30 miles south of Chicago, officers discovered the four women deceased.

The local police chief, Tom Tilton, assured a prompt response, with a man found near the victims subsequently taken into custody.

The victims were identified as Majeda Kassem (53), Hanan Kassem (24), Halema Kassem (25), and Zahia Kassem (25). Described as a “senseless” act of family violence, the incident has shaken the community. Tinley Park officials emphasized that this was an isolated occurrence, and authorities have already secured the firearm used in the tragic shooting.
