Mumbai: In a distressing incident at Mumbai’s Bandra Terminus, at least nine passengers sustained injuries following a stampede early in the morning. The chaotic scene unfolded around 2:30 a.m. as a Gorakhpur-bound train arrived at the platform, prompting a rush among travelers eager to board.

As the crowd surged forward, the stampede resulted in injuries to nine individuals, all of whom were promptly taken to Bhabha Hospital for medical care. Among the injured, two passengers—identified as Indrajith Sahani and Noor Mohammad Shaikh—are reported to be in critical condition.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the stampede, emphasizing the importance of safe boarding practices, especially during peak hours.
