Shashi Tharoor Contemplates Last Fight in Thiruvananthapuram: A Shift for Younger Leaders?

Thiruvananthapuram Congress MP Shashi Tharoor hinted that his upcoming electoral battle in Thiruvananthapuram could be his last, advocating for opportunities for younger candidates.

While he emphasized the need to make room for the younger generation, Tharoor added a political caveat, stating, “In politics, there is another slogan which is ‘never say never’.”

Responding to recent remarks about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections potentially being his final contest in Thiruvananthapuram, he clarified that while he didn’t say “never,” he believes it could be his last election. Tharoor, a Congress Working Committee member, expressed his commitment to giving his best for the people if he contests.
