Hubballi: Former Minister Shankar Patil Munenakoppa gave a miss to a Kabaddi tournament organized by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi in Navalgund on Friday. This absence has sparked widespread discussions, indicating that he may still harbor grievances against the BJP.

In response to queries from reporters about Munenakoppa’s absence, Minister Joshi asserted that Munenakoppa remained absent as he already stated that he would not be active in public life till January 31 and there is no special meaning to it. Joshi added that he planned to engage with Munenakoppa after January 31 to address any concerns.

Hangal Gangrape Case: Joshi Urges Formation of SIT

Minister Joshi expressed deep concern over the Hangal gangrape case, emphasizing its seriousness. According to one piece of information, the individuals involved in the moral policing aspect of the incident had connections to the PFI. He called on the government to promptly establish a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the matter.
