WASHINGTON — Indicted Representative George Santos is anticipated to be expelled from the House on Friday, concluding a tumultuous term marked by a House ethics investigation and a federal indictment containing charges such as wire fraud and money laundering.

Santos, a New York Republican, faced two previous expulsion attempts earlier in the year but began losing support after a scathing 56-page report from the bipartisan House Ethics Committee outlined allegations of deceiving donors, filing false campaign statements, and misusing campaign funds for personal expenses like rent, luxury goods, trips, cosmetic treatments, and an OnlyFans subscription.

The expulsion vote is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. ET.
