Rotary Club of Hubballi Midtown Installs New Team with Dinesh Shetty at the Helm
Hubballi, EXPRESS News: The installation ceremony of the 2024-25 office bearers of the Rotary Club of Hubballi Midtown took place on Sunday at RN Shetty Kalyana Mantapa in Hubballi.
During the ceremony, Rtn. Dinesh Shetty was installed as the President, Rtn. Praveen Bhansali as the Secretary, Rtn. Sangamesh Handigol as the Treasurer, along with the team.
The past District Governor, Rtn. Dr. Jarson Fernandes, officiated the installation of the new office bearers. Speaking on the occasion, PDG Rtn. Dr. Jarson Fernandes remarked that Rotarians swiftly undertake any social service task assigned to them, noting that Rotary’s achievement in creating a polio-free world is significant.
Rtn. Dr. Sabitha Kalyanpurkar, Rtn. Swati Sajjan, and Rtn. Mukesh Panchal introduced the guests. During the event, the outgoing President, Rtn. Raju Doddamani, and Rtn. Shivaprasad Lakkamanahalli presented a report on their achievements over the past year.
The event also included the felicitation of notable figures: Mrs. Mallavva from the municipal corporation for her service, Prof. M.R. Patil for his social work, Rtn. Anand Singh Mokashi for his contributions to sports, Rtn. Gulzar Ahmad, and Rtn. Gurudeep Singh for cricket.
The new office bearers who took the oath included Vice President Rtn. Sanjay Kunnath, Joint Secretary Rtn. Vishwanath Angadki, and the 2024-25 board of directors, including Rtn. Advisors include Rtn. Ravinder Singh Sabhlok, Rtn. Prakash M. Kanur, Rtn. Vinod Habib, Rtn. Vivek Gabbur, and Rtn. Basavaraj Harti. The committee chairs include Rtn. Sanjot R. Shah, Rtn. The program commenced with a dance performance by Raksha Satish Rao. Rtn. Vivek Nayak, Rtn. Dheeraj Madan, and Mrs. Anjali Mokashi anchored the event. Members of the Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club, and the Hubballi-Dharwad Bunt Sangha office bearers and invitees were present.
