Pran Pratishtha Set for Next Month as Ayodhya Trust Finalizes Idol for Grand Ram Temple

The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has completed the idol selection process for the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Trustee Bimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra announced that the chosen idol of Lord Ram Lalla, reflecting a five-year-old, will undergo ‘Pran Pratishtha’ next month.

The decision was reached through a voting process among trust members, emphasizing divineness and a childlike look.

The consecration ceremony is scheduled for January 16-22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to visit. Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Misra assured that the construction is qualitative, not rushed. The selected idol will be consecrated on January 22 in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra.’
