Pralhad Joshi Confident of Lok Sabha Win with 3 Lakh Vote Margin
Hubballi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has expressed unwavering confidence in securing his fifth consecutive victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, predicting an impressive three lakh vote margin.
Addressing reporters on Wednesday following the announcement of his candidature, Joshi asserted that irrespective of the opposition candidate, he is certain of clinching the election with a substantial lead.
“I am confident that I will emerge victorious with a margin of at least 3 lakh votes,” Joshi declared. The minister also shared his optimism for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), confidently predicting the party’s success in winning 400 seats and ensuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return for a third term.
Responding to questions about internal party dynamics, Joshi clarified that former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar did not attempt to undermine his chances of securing the BJP ticket. Addressing the omission of former state BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel from the list of candidates, Joshi assured that the party would provide him with another opportunity. Regarding Eshwarappa’s son not receiving a ticket, he emphasized that it was a decision made by the party.
Acknowledging the intense competition for tickets in each constituency, Joshi highlighted the normalcy of such situations due to high demand and a naturally elevated winning strike rate. He emphasized that the party’s high command would ultimately decide the candidate for each constituency, reinforcing the democratic process within the party.
