PM Modi to Attend Quad Leaders’ Summit in US, India to Host Next Meeting in 2025
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the United States from September 21 to 23, where he will participate in the Fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, hosted by US President Joe Biden on September 21.
In response to a US request to host this year’s Quad Summit, India has agreed to take on the responsibility of hosting the next gathering in 2025, according to an official statement. During the Summit, leaders will assess the progress made by the Quad over the past year and outline future objectives to support development in the Indo-Pacific region.
On September 23, Prime Minister Modi will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Summit, themed ‘Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,’ is expected to attract numerous global leaders. Alongside the event, Modi will hold bilateral discussions with several world leaders, focusing on issues of mutual importance.
On September 22, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address the Indian community in New York. Additionally, he will meet with top executives from leading US companies to explore collaboration opportunities in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. Modi will also engage with thought leaders and stakeholders involved in strengthening the India-US partnership, according to the statement.
