PM Modi Launches Annual Auction of Mementoes, Proceeds to Aid Ganga Conservation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on citizens to participate in the auction of mementoes he has received over the years, highlighting that the funds generated will support the ‘Namami Gange’ project.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister shared, “Every year, I auction the mementoes gifted to me during various public events. The funds raised from this auction contribute towards the Namami Gange initiative. I am pleased to announce that this year’s auction is now live. I encourage everyone to explore and bid on the mementoes that catch your interest.”

The Namami Gange project is a significant government effort aimed at the conservation and rejuvenation of the Ganga River.
