Panic on Hebbal Flyover: Out-of-Control BMTC Bus Triggers Massive Pile-Up
Bengaluru: A harrowing incident unfolded on Tuesday morning as a BMTC Volvo bus careened out of control on the Hebbal flyover, resulting in a multi-vehicle collision. Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver either lost control of the bus or inadvertently accelerated instead of braking, triggering a chain reaction of accidents.
The bus, en route to HSR Layout from the city airport, collided with several vehicles on the busy flyover, causing significant damage. While the exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined, authorities are scrutinizing the bus’s on-board camera footage for crucial details.
