Navjot Singh Sidhu Returns to Kapil Sharma’s Show After Five Years
After a five-year break, politician and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu is set to make a grand reappearance on Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy show. If you missed the memo, Sidhu had been replaced by Archana Puran Singh on the show, sparking a change fans haven’t forgotten. Recently, Sidhu shared a teaser video on his Instagram, sitting in his trademark seat, which stirred up excitement and speculation among fans.
In the clip, Kapil, surprised by Sidhu’s presence, initially thinks he’s comedian Sunil Grover, who often impersonates Sidhu on the show. Confused, Kapil remarks, “Sunil paaji, you come here dressed as Sidhu every other day!” Sidhu, with his trademark wit, replies, “Hey! Look closely. Knock, knock! Who’s there? It’s the real Sidhu!”
Archana Puran Singh, looking slightly uneasy, humorously nudges Kapil and says, “Kapil, tell sardar sahab to get off my chair; he’s made himself at home!”
But before fans get too excited, Sidhu’s visit isn’t a permanent return. He’ll be appearing as a guest, accompanied by his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu. The couple will be joined by cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife, actress-model Geeta Basra.
Adding to the fun, Harbhajan Singh playfully teases Archana, saying, “No matter what people say, no one becomes a fool because of others’ opinions. Anyone can sit in the chair, but no one becomes Sidhu!”
For an extra laugh, Sunil Grover, dressed as Sidhu, makes a surprise entrance, climbing the stairs, hugging Archana, and jokingly asking someone to “move her chair.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu captioned the Instagram video, “The Home Run…” Harbhajan Singh reacted, saying, “Paji chaaa gaye. Showtime with BOSSMAN.”

The much-anticipated episode of *The Great Indian Kapil Show*, featuring Sidhu and other guests, will air on Netflix on Saturday, November 16.
