Mysterious Discovery: Body Remains Unearthed Behind Hubballi’s KIMS Ladies Hostel
Hubli Express News, Hubballi: Skeleton of a body was discovered in the KIMS premises, around 7-10 feet deep in the drainage located behind the ladies’ hostel on Tuesday evening. The Vidyanagar police promptly responded, and the body was sent for post-mortem.
ACP Shivaprakash Naik informed Hubli Express that the body appears to be that of a man who might have died around 5-6 months ago. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and once the reports arrive, samples will be sent to the FSL, marking a crucial phase in the investigation.
The police are actively searching for a beggar who used to sit near the hostel. According to locals, they have not seen him for the past few days. The police suspect that the body could be his, but a comprehensive investigation is underway.
Police mentioned finding POP powder in the pockets of his dress, expressing surprise at how the locals remained silent without noticing the smell from the decomposing body. The investigation is ongoing, and as it progresses, more details are expected to emerge.
