Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had not done anything wrong in the MUDA case and added that he would come out clean even if there was investigation.

Replying to reporters’ queries at an event in Taj West End on High Court’s ruling in Muda case, he said, “This is a conspiracy of the BJP. The CM has not done anything wrong in this. The BJP is trying to fix the CM like the way they filed a case and sent me to jail. By God’s grace, my case has been quashed. The CM will come out clean too.”

“We all stand with the Chief Minister and we will continue our fight. The BJP is not able to digest the good work Siddaramaiah has done in the State and hence they are hatching up a conspiracy against him. I have faith in the law of the land and I am confident that justice will be delivered in this case,” he added.

Asked if the High Court ruling was a setback for the CM and the government, he said, “There is no setback. The media reports are saying that the High Court has given a go ahead for the investigation. I will comment on the case once I go through the judgement.”
