Marvel Studios has officially provided a first glimpse of its upcoming Thunderbolts movie and the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. This announcement follows the leak of footage from Comic-Con and D23. The new footage was part of a video commemorating 85 years of Marvel, which also teased several highly anticipated projects, including a fresh look at Red Hulk from the upcoming Captain America movie.

In the preview for Thunderbolts, viewers are treated to a sneak peek of Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, the ex-Black Widow assassin, alongside Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell’s John Walker, Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost, and David Harbour’s Red Guardian. First announced in June 2022, Thunderbolts focuses on a team of antiheroes deployed on missions by the U.S. government. This film will be the final installment of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is scheduled to hit theaters on May 2, 2025.

The footage from Daredevil: Born Again features Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, fully suited up, marking his official return in the series. The first season is set to span 18 episodes, with Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as Kingpin. In an interview with Newsweek in March 2023, D’Onofrio revealed that a second season is already being planned.

The video also includes a first look at Riri Williams in her Ironheart suit, which will appear in the Ironheart series set for release next year. Additionally, there is another glimpse of Red Hulk, portrayed by Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus Ross, in Captain America: Brave New World.

Despite a series of recent box office setbacks, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has rebounded with the success of Deadpool & Wolverine, which has surpassed $1 billion in global earnings.
