Low Pressure in Arabian Sea Promises Heavy Rain for Twin Cities
Hubballi: The twin cities are bracing for significant rainfall over the next four days due to a low-pressure system in the Arabian Sea. Dr. R.H. Patil, principal nodal officer of the GKMS Unit in Dharwad, has indicated that this region of Karnataka is expected to experience intense showers.
Recent rainfall data reflects the severity of the situation, with Hubballi receiving 23.7 mm of rain in the last 24 hours as of 8:30 AM on October 9, well above the normal of 5 mm. Over the past week, the city has recorded a total of 39.5 mm of rain.
