Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Outpaces Singham Again in Advance Booking
Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has taken a slight lead over Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again in advance ticket sales ahead of their highly anticipated Diwali box-office face-off, as per data from industry tracking portal Sacnilk.
With a longer advance booking window, Anees Bazmee’s horror-comedy gained an early advantage over Rohit Shetty’s cop universe film, as tickets for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 were made available up to three days earlier in certain locations.
Sacnilk’s data indicates that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has generated approximately Rs 19.22 crore in gross pre-sales across India, selling around 5.54 lakh tickets for 9,901 shows. Meanwhile, Singham Again has also posted strong pre-sales, with around 5.12 lakh tickets sold, totaling Rs 18.69 crore gross from 13,689 shows.
Regionally, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 recorded its highest advance sales in Maharashtra (Rs 4.09 crore gross), followed by Delhi (Rs 3.8 crore), Gujarat (Rs 2.58 crore), Uttar Pradesh (Rs 1.8 crore), and West Bengal (Rs 1.34 crore). Singham Again, on the other hand, saw its highest pre-sales earnings in Maharashtra (Rs 4.57 crore), Gujarat (Rs 3.83 crore), Uttar Pradesh (Rs 1.5 crore), and Karnataka (Rs 1.14 crore).
According to industry experts, both films are expected to have strong first-day box office performances. Projections by Sacnilk suggest that Singham Again may open at Rs 82 crore gross (Rs 68 crore nett), while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 could see an opening day gross of Rs 55 crore (Rs 45 crore nett).
