Karnataka Weather Update: Rain Expected in 12 Districts, Dry Conditions Elsewhere

Hubballi: The Karnataka State Weather Department has issued a yellow alert for 12 districts, forecasting rainfall in these regions. According to the latest weather update, districts including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Kolar, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, and Tumakuru are expected to receive rain in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the weather department has predicted moderate rainfall in districts like Vijayanagar, Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Davangere, Chitradurga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal, Kalaburagi, and Haveri. However, dry conditions will dominate in most areas of the state, offering respite from the heavy rains that have affected certain regions in recent weeks.

The public in the rain-affected districts is advised to take necessary precautions as per the yellow alert, especially in areas prone to flooding or waterlogging.
