Karnataka Police Constable Risks Life to Capture Infamous Thief

A police constable from Koratagere Police Station in Tumkuru is being celebrated for his bravery after risking his life to capture a notorious thief. The incident, recorded on CCTV, has gone viral on social media, earning widespread praise for the constable’s courageous act.

The suspect, Manjesh, also known as Manja or Hatke Manja, is a hardened criminal notorious for preying on elderly individuals, targeting them for their gold chains. Manja, who believed his victims were pensioners had instilled fear in the region.

The dramatic arrest unfolded near the Sadashivanagar police station in Bengaluru. The CCTV footage reveals a fierce struggle between the constable and the thief, showcasing the constable’s exceptional courage and resolve.

Manja was a high-profile target with over 10 cases registered against him in Koratagere, Madhugiri, and Hebburu police stations in Tumkur district. His capture is considered a significant breakthrough in the ongoing fight against crime in the area.
