In a strategic move, the Karnataka BJP has decided to relocate Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s anticipated mega public rally from the mainland region to the coastal area of the state. Sources within the BJP have confirmed that the rally, scheduled for April 14, will now take place in the stronghold city of Mangaluru in Dakshina Kannada district.

The decision to shift the venue comes amidst various considerations, aiming to maximize the impact of the Prime Minister’s address and cover diverse regions within the state. Previously, the rally was planned at Devanahalli, falling under the Chikkaballapur Lok Sabha seat. However, to ensure the Prime Minister’s availability and to encompass all corners of Karnataka, the venue has been changed, as per insider sources.

Accompanying the rally, Prime Minister Modi will engage in a significant roadshow scheduled for the same day in Bengaluru. The roadshow is slated to traverse the Hebbal to Byatarayanapura stretch in the Bengaluru North Constituency, where Union Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje is contesting as the BJP candidate. The participation of party workers from all three constituencies of the city underscores the magnitude of the event. The roadshow is set to span an hour, amplifying BJP’s presence in the state capital.
