Job Fair in Gadag on Sept 30

Gadag: A district-level job fair for Gadag will be held on September 30 at 10 AM at JT College, organized in collaboration with the Hubli Employment Information and Training Center, S.R. Bommai Trust, JT College, S.V. Sankanur Fan Club, and Inspire Technologies. The announcement was made by Member of the Legislative Council, S.V. Sankanur.

Sankanur emphasized the importance of addressing unemployment, stating, “As someone elected from the Graduate constituency, I have taken this step to tackle the issue of unemployment. Graduates often focus solely on government jobs, but there are significant opportunities available in the private sector as well. This job fair aims to provide information about these opportunities and inspire self-employment.”

The event is set to feature participation from over 50 companies across the state, including prominent names like Bosch, Toyota, Accenture, Muthoot Finance, Axis, Ink Impact, Fortia Medico, MedPlus, and ICICI. A total of 2,500 job openings will be available, and interviews will be conducted on-site to select candidates.

So far, 630 candidates from Gadag and nearby districts, including Belagavi, Dharwad, Koppal, and Haveri, have registered for the event. Additionally, on-the-spot registration will be available on September 30 from 9 AM to 2 PM.

This initiative aims to not only connect graduates with job opportunities but also to raise awareness about the various career paths available in both the public and private sectors.
