Jaishankar and Wang Yi’s Unexpected Encounter at Munich Security Conference

MUNICH: Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar had an impromptu conversation with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi at the Munich Security Conference.

The brief interaction occurred as Jaishankar headed to a panel discussion. This comes after months of no communication between the two nations since their last meeting in Indonesia in July 2023. Jaishankar also met with UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron and Peru Foreign Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea during the conference.
