‘Jailer’ Film Villain Vinayakan Booked for Misconduct at Hyderabad Airport
Malayalam actor Vinayakan was booked by the RGI Airport police in Hyderabad on Saturday, September 7, 2024, under the City Police Act, following complaints of unruly behavior at the airport. According to authorities, the actor was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and caused a disruption at the boarding gate.
Vinayakan, who was traveling from Kochi to Goa with a layover in Hyderabad, allegedly got into a verbal altercation with airline gate staff. His behavior raised concerns, leading to him being handed over to CISF personnel. The Central Industrial Security Force then filed a formal complaint, after which the actor was taken into custody for questioning.
Known for his standout performances in Malayalam cinema, Vinayakan has garnered attention for his roles in films such as Kammatipaadam and Thottappan. His portrayal of antagonistic characters, most recently in Rajinikanth’s hit movie Jailer, has earned him widespread acclaim.
