Jagadish Shettar, Munenakoppa meets JP Nadda, former minister to continue in BJP
New Delhi: In a positive turn of events for the BJP just ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar has rejoined the party. Additionally, former minister Shankar Patil Munenakoppa met BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi, indicating a sense of unity within the party.
Munenakoppa, who expressed dissatisfaction with the local BJP unit following the defeat in the last Assembly election, had, at one point, considered leaving the BJP. He remained inactive in his constituency, and politically, he was in a state of dormancy after his political mentor quit the party.
With Shettar’s return to the party, Munenakoppa is likely to continue his association with the BJP. It is anticipated that he will actively engage in political activities within his constituency in the coming days. The development suggests a positive trajectory for the BJP as they gear up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
