“I Am in BJP, Will Remain in BJP,” Dr Mahesh Nalwad Clears the Air

Hubballi: Dr Mahesh Nalwad, who harbored aspirations of contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha election on a BJP ticket from the Haveri Lok Sabha seat, has unequivocally stated that he remains steadfastly committed to the BJP and will continue working for the party.

His clarification comes in response to news reports suggesting that he might rejoin the Congress party and be fielded as a candidate from the Dharwad Lok Sabha seat.

Dr Nalwad affirmed his dedication as a party worker and reiterated his dream, shared by millions of Indians, to see Prime Minister Modi lead the country for a third term.

Dismissing recent reports as far from the truth, Dr. Nalwad asserted that he has no intention of joining the Congress or contesting from the Dharwad Lok Sabha seat.

Dr Nalwad had been actively involved in the Haveri-Gadag Lok Sabha constituency, diligently working in anticipation of securing the party ticket. However, the party leadership ultimately nominated former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for that seat.
