In a shocking revelation, a human skeleton believed to be approximately 30 years old was unearthed from the courtyard of a residence in Gilondpur village, Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The discovery followed a complaint by Punjabi Singh, the youngest son of the deceased, who alleged that his two elder brothers murdered their father, Budhh Singh, and concealed his remains within the home.

Budhh Singh went missing in 1994, and his family has long sought answers. Punjabi Singh, now 39, reported the alleged crime to Hathras District Magistrate Rohit Pandey. After receiving his complaint, police commenced excavation at around 9 PM on Thursday, resulting in the recovery of the skeleton.

Station House Officer Vijay Kumar Singh confirmed that the remains have been sent for postmortem and DNA testing to establish identity. Punjabi Singh recounted a heated argument between his father and elder siblings three decades ago, which now raises suspicions about their involvement in the disappearance. The family of Budhh Singh, a farmer married to Urmila, had long feared the worst, and the discovery may finally bring closure to this decades-old mystery. Further actions will depend on the DNA report.
