Hubballi: Robbers Tie Up Family, Loot Valuables from Businessman Sutaria’s Home

Hubballi: In the early hours of Sunday, a group of robbers broke into the residence of businessman Sutaria in Vijayanagar and escaped with valuables after restraining the residents and the security guard, according to the police.

Sources revealed that the robbers assaulted the security guard stationed outside the house of Sachin Sha, owner of Sutaria Auto Centre dealers of Mahindra cars, before gaining entry. Inside, they threatened the family members and tied their hands and legs. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mahaning Nandagavi stated that a few family members were present during the robbery and sustained minor injuries. The family is currently assessing the extent of the stolen jewellery and cash.

Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar visited the crime scene, and a canine squad was deployed to aid the investigation. The police are in the process of registering a case and continuing their probe into the incident.
