Hubballi: Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Denies Involvement in Actor Darshan’s Jail Transfer

Hubballi, EXPRESS News: The decision to transfer actor Darshan to Ballari jail was made by the police department, not by me, clarified Housing Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, the minister addressed allegations from the opposition suggesting that he was behind the transfer of Darshan from Parappana Agrahara jail to Ballari, stating that these claims were completely baseless. He emphasized that the decision was made by the police, without any influence from him.

Minister Khan also defended Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who is currently facing legal challenges related to the MUDA site case. He affirmed that the entire cabinet, along with MLAs, Congress leaders, and the Congress high command, fully support Siddaramaiah. Khan expressed confidence that the Chief Minister would be exonerated and come out of the situation clean.
