Hubballi Flyover Accident: ASI Injured After Rod Falls From Under-Construction Flyover

Hubballi: If you frequently travel under the under-construction flyover in Hubballi, you might want to exercise caution. An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) attached to the Hubballi Suburban Police Station sustained serious injuries after a rod from the under-construction flyover fell on him while he was riding his bike on his way to the office near Old Court Circle on Tuesday evening.

The injured officer has been identified as Nabiraj Dayannavar, according to police sources. He was stationed at the Hubballi Suburban Police Station. The incident occurred as the ASI was returning to his office after handling bandobast duty for District In-Charge Minister Santosh Lad at the Sawai Gandharva Hall.

The injured ASI was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment. Deputy Commissioner Divya Prabhu visited the spot. Sources report that he has sustained serious injuries. Authorities are expected to take appropriate action in this case.
