Hubballi-Dharwad DCP M. Rajeev Suspended

Hubballi: The state government has suspended Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate’s Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) M. Rajeev over recent incidents of murder.

In the recent murder of Anjali Ambiger, serious allegations were leveled against the police, accusing them of failing to take sufficient action to prevent the murder despite complaints from her parents about threats to her safety. Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar has suspended PI Chandrashekhar Chikkodi and Head Constable Rekha Havaraddy on charges of dereliction of duty. Now, the DCP has also been suspended from service.
