Hubballi-Dharwad BJP Leaders, Including Union Minister Joshi, Clean Temple Premises

Hubballi: BJP leaders, including Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and Hubballi Dharwad Central MLA Mahesh Tenginkai, participated in the Swachha Teerth Cleanliness Drive at the premises of Siddappajja Gadduge Math on Monday.

The initiative is part of preparations for the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. During the drive, the leaders used wipers and cloths to clean the temple floors and Nandi statue.

Addressing reporters after the cleanliness drive, Union Minister Joshi dismissed allegations of the opposition that the BJP politicizing a religious ceremony. He asserted that everyone knows who is doing politics in this matter.

Joshi mentioned that the trust had extended invitations to all, but the Congress declined to participate. He criticized the Congress, stating that if they had accepted the invitation and participated, there would be no debate. Joshi refrained from commenting on Uttar Kannada MP Ananth Kumar Hegde’s statement.

Moreover, he criticized the Congress for what he perceived as inadequate action in the Hangal gang-rape case. Joshi urged the government to take stringent action against the accused without considering their caste or religion. He emphasized that political considerations should not hinder the pursuit of justice.
