High Court Postpones Hearing in B.S. Yediyurappa’s POCSO Case: Reports

The Karnataka High Court is set to revisit the petition filed by BJP veteran B.S. Yediyurappa, which seeks to dismiss a POCSO case against him, on September 5, according to a report.

Justice M. Nagaprasanna has postponed the hearing in the former Chief Minister’s case, according to reports from Bar and Bench.

18 Injured After Bus Overturns in UP

Eighteen individuals sustained injuries when a bus overturned after colliding with cattle in the Ramchandra Mission area early Friday morning, according to police reports.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. while the bus was en route from Sitapur to Haridwar. Circle Officer Somya Pandey stated that the vehicle lost control after an ox appeared in its path.

A police team promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured passengers to a nearby hospital. Some of the injured were treated and discharged after receiving first aid. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, Pandey confirmed.
