The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds in over 14 districts of the state for the coming week.

Districts Expected to Receive Heavy Rainfall:
– Dakshina Kannada

– Uttara Kannada

– Bidar
– Kalaburagi
– Raichur
– Vijayapura
– Yadgir
– Chikkaballapur
– Chikkamagaluru
– Kodagu
– Kolar
– Shivamogga

Moderate Rainfall Predicted for:
Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Koppal, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chamarajanagar, Chitradurga, Davangere, Hassan, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Tumakuru, and Vijayanagara districts.

Heavy rains have been reported in several areas including Castlerock, Kottigehara, Agumbe, Linganamakki, Kadra, Shirali, Kollur, Siddapur, Gerusoppa, Karwar, Londa, Yellapur, Kota, Kumta, Manki, Bhagamandala, Joyida, Ponnampet, Karkala, Gokarna, Sulya, Puttur, Jayapura, Thyagarthi, Somwarpet, Belthangady, Banavasi, Kalasa, Dharmasthala, Saidapur, Manthala, Gabburu, Almatti, Sankeshwar, Sedam, Devarahippargi, Balehonnur, and NR Pura.
