Heavy Rains Flood Rajinikanth’s Poes Garden Villa in Chennai
Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth’s lavish villa in Chennai’s Poes Garden has been heavily impacted by the recent downpours, which have caused widespread flooding across the city. His residence, a well-known landmark in the upscale Teynampet area, faced waterlogging as relentless rains overwhelmed the city’s drainage systems, leading to water entering the premises.
Social media visuals captured the extent of the flooding, with water accumulating around his villa and throughout the Poes Garden locality. This high-security zone, home to many celebrities and industrialists, has not been spared from the heavy rainfall that has affected several low-lying areas of Chennai.
In response, civic authorities acted swiftly, initiating emergency measures to pump out the water. Rajinikanth’s staff have also been vigilant, working to minimize any damage caused by the flooding.
While Rajinikanth has not yet commented publicly on the situation, sources suggest that he is taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety of his household. Other celebrity homes in the area have also been impacted by the intense northeast monsoon rains that continue to batter the city, causing severe waterlogging and disrupting daily life in many parts of Chennai.
