Good News for Gruha Laxmi Scheme Beneficiaries

Belagavi: Are you a beneficiary of the state government’s ambitious Gruha Laxmi scheme? If so, there’s good news for you. Beneficiaries who have been awaiting payments will soon see the funds credited to their bank accounts.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Women and Child Welfare Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar announced that the payments for July and August will be cleared, with beneficiaries receiving a total of Rs 4,000. The government has released Rs 5,000 crore to facilitate this deposit.

The Rs 2,000 for July will be credited on October 7, followed by the Rs 2,000 for August on October 9.

This government scheme provides Rs 2,000 every month to the woman head of financially disadvantaged families, benefiting 1.20 crore registered women across the state.
