Extra Trains Announced for Ganesh Chaturthi: Bengaluru to Kalaburagi Express Specials

Railway Board has approved for running of Train Nos. 06589/06590 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special (TOD) to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganesh Chaturthi-2024 The details are as follows:

 

Train Nos. 06589/06590 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special will run for 3 trips:

 

Train No. 06589 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 21:15 hrs on September 05, 06 and 07 2024. This train will arrive at Kalaburagi at 07:40 hrs on the next day.

 

In the return direction, Train No. 06590 will depart from Kalaburagi at 09:35 hrs on September 06, 07, and 08 2024, and will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 20:00 hrs on the same day.

 

Enroute, the trains will have stoppages at Yelahanka, Dharmavaram Jn., Anantapur, Guntakal Jn, Adoni, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir and Shahabad stations in both directions.

 

The special trains will consist of a total of 18 coaches, AC-3 tier-2, Sleeper class-10, General Second Class-4, Second luggage cum brake vans/disabled coach-2.

 

Continuation Of Running Of Train Nos. 06083 / 06084 Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal – Kochuveli Weekly Express for 4 Trips.

 

Southern Railway has notified for Continuation of running of Train Nos. 06083 / 06084 Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal – Kochuveli Weekly Express Special to clear extra rush of passengers during Onam Festival  as per details mentioned below: –

 

Train No. 06083 Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Weekly Express Special will depart from Kochuveli at 18:05 PM on 03.09.2024 to 24.09.2024 and arrive at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal at 10:55 AM the next day (Total – 4 Trips).

 

Train No. 06084 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal – Kochuveli Weekly Express Special will depart from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal at 12:45 PM on 04.09.2024 to 25.09.2024 and arrive Kochuveli at 06:45 AM the next day (Total – 4 Trips).

 

 

 

Enroute the trains will have stoppages at Quilon, Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Chenganasseri, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Bangarapet and  Krishnarajapuram in both directions.

 

Regulation Of Train

Southern Railway has notified the regulation of the following train due to engineering works at Angamali for Kaladi.

1. Train No.12677 KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Express journey commencing on September 01 2024 will be regulated for 40 minutes enroute.

 

Partial Cancellation/ Diversion

Southern Railway has notified the Partial Cancellation/diversion of the following trains due to engineering works at Arakkonam Yard.
