Empty Stands: No Spectators to Watch Pakistan vs. Bangladesh Match! PCB Offers Free Tickets
In a surprising move, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to grant free admission to fans for Day 4 and Day 5 of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Rawalpindi. This decision comes in response to a disappointing turnout during the first three days of the match, which began on August 21, reported sporting news.
The PCB’s initiative aims to revitalize attendance at cricket events, addressing concerns about the low fan participation in a country renowned for its enthusiasm for the sport. To take advantage of this offer, fans must present their original CNIC or B-form for entry.
For those who have already purchased tickets for the final two days, the PCB assures that refunds will be processed online. Additionally, the board has arranged transportation services to help fans reach the stadium easily.
Spectators will have access to most areas of the stadium, including VIP and Premium seating; however, purchases for the PCB gallery and Platinum Box will not be allowed. The first Test match is set to run from August 21 to 25 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, followed by a second match at the National Stadium in Karachi from August 30 to September 3. Bangladesh, captained by Shakib Al Hasan, has already arrived in Pakistan for the series.
