Diwali Box Office Clash: Singham Again Leads Over Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Opening Day Collections

Bollywood witnessed a major box office clash with the release of two highly awaited sequels: Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on the occassion of Diwali. Both films cater to unique fanbases and belong to popular Bollywood franchises.

Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, brings back the high-octane action of the “cop universe.” With Devgn reprising his role as Singham, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone as “Lady Singham,” and features appearances by Bollywood heavyweights like Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. Salman Khan’s cameo as Chulbul Pandey has further raised excitement. According to Sacnilk, the film opened strongly, grossing an estimated ₹2.45 crore on its first day in India.

On the other side, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror-comedy directed by Anees Bazmee, sees Kartik Aaryan return as Rooh Baba, joined by Vidya Balan as Manjulika. The cast includes Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz, delivering a blend of humor and horror. The film earned ₹1.9 crore on its opening day, per Sacnilk’s estimates.

With both films enjoying robust fan support, the box office competition is expected to intensify throughout the Diwali weekend.
