Dharwad Woman Loses Gold Necklace Worth Rs 1.60 Lakh

Dharwad: A woman, while boarding a city bus at the CBT in Dharwad, lost her gold necklace worth Rs 1.60 lakh weighing about 24 grams to miscreants.

The victim, a resident of Shashtri Chawl on KSK Road in the city, lost her golden ornament while boarding the Sadhanakeri bus from the CBT on January 12. The miscreants stealthily lifted the necklace from her neck. Despite her efforts to search for the precious gold ornament, she couldn’t find it. Subsequently, her husband, Baseer Ahmed Jamadar, filed a case with the Town police.”
