Dharwad: Polling momentum appears to be lagging as Phase 3 of the Lok Sabha elections unfolds across the remaining 14 constituencies of the state.

The scorching sun and heatwave might be deterring voters from coming to polling stations and exercising their democratic rights. By 1 pm, voter turnout figures show: Dharwad witnessed a turnout of 40.61%, Bagalkot 41.91%, Belagavi 40.57%, Ballari 44.36%, Bidar 37.97%, Vijayapura 39.81%, Chikkodi 45.69%, Davanagere 42.32%, Kalaburgi 37.48%, Haveri 43.26%, Koppal 42.74%, Raichur 38.06%, Shivamogga 44.98%, and Uttara Kannada 44.22%.
