Cooking Gas Cylinder Prices Marked Down by ₹100
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a price reduction of ₹100 for cooking gas cylinders today, in honor of International Women’s Day. The announcement was conveyed by PM Modi on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
A 14.2 kg cooking gas cylinder costs around 930 rupees in Hubballi. The government on Thursday announced the extension of ₹ 300 per LPG cylinder subsidy to poor women under the Ujjwala Yojana for the next fiscal starting April 1.
Today, on Women’s Day, our Government has decided to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs. 100. This will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti.
