Brijesh Chowta: Stone Placing on Railway Tracks a Threat to Public Safety, Calls for Action

Mangaluru: The dangerous act of placing stones on the railway tracks at the Tokkottu railway overbridge on the Mangaluru-Kerala route is a serious issue, and police must immediately apprehend the miscreants and take strict legal action, urged MP Brijesh Chowta.

Speaking on the matter in Mangaluru, he said, “I have already spoken to the concerned police and railway department’s security officials regarding the misdeed of placing stones on the railway tracks. This is the first such incident in Dakshina Kannada district.”

He further added, “This act of attacking and attempting to damage our national property, belonging to the railway department, is an act of treason. It is also the responsibility of the people to help identify such traitors in our society who harbor this kind of mentality.”
