Box Cricket League-2 to Begin on December 25 in Hubballi

Hubballi: The second edition of the Box Cricket League, organized by the DDH Jain Hubli Cricket Committee, is set to take place on December 25 at Sports Park, Hubballi. The event will see 10 teams competing to showcase their cricketing talent.

To prepare for the tournament, a player selection program was held on Friday, where players were chosen through a bidding process using points.

The league is supported by prominent sponsors, with Sha Kundanmal Ganeshmal & Sons as the main sponsor, Rishabh Plywoods Hubballi as the jersey sponsor, and Rajguru Metal managing the food arrangements. The ceremonial “Boss of the Toss” title was sponsored by Sha Pukhraj Kumbhraj Gandhimutha.

The program began with the chanting of the Navkar Maha Mantra and was inaugurated by several dignitaries. Hubballi Police Officer Vinod Muktedar, Mr. Kantilal Malani, Mr. Kishore Sanghvi, Mr. Suresh Gandhimutha, and Mr. Mukesh Jain unveiled the tournament trophy as the chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Muktedar encouraged the players to embrace the true spirit of the game and emphasized how such events foster camaraderie and mutual understanding among participants.

The event was hosted by Nilesh Jain and Sanjay Seth, with Vikram Mandot extending a vote of thanks to all attendees. The program arrangements were meticulously handled by committee members Ankush Seth, Bunty Dani, Rakesh Chopra, Nikhil Tated, Sachin Kataria, and Montu Jain.

With the excitement building, cricket enthusiasts are looking forward to an exhilarating tournament this Christmas.
