Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squads for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Australia. The selection committee confirmed the teams on Friday.

 South Africa T20I Series

India will compete in a 4-match T20I series against South Africa, beginning on November 8 in Durban. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the T20I squad, which includes notable players like Sanju Samson, Rinku Singh, and Hardik Pandya.

India’s T20I Squad for South Africa:

– Captain: Suryakumar Yadav

– Players: Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (WK), Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma (WK), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Ramandeep Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Avesh Khan, Yash Dayal.

Unavailable Players: Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dube (injuries), Riyan Parag (shoulder injury).

Match Schedule:

  3. 3rd T20I – 13 Nov, Centurion

 Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series in Australia

Following the T20I series, India will head to Australia for a five-match Test series as part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. This series starts on November 22 in Perth. Rohit Sharma will captain the Test squad, with Jasprit Bumrah as vice-captain. Rishabh Pant will take on wicketkeeping duties, with key players like Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja on the roster.

– Vice-Captain: Jasprit Bumrah

– Players: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant (WK), Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd. Siraj, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar.
