Bengaluru: 41-Year-Old Man Drowns in RR Nagar Club Pool; Police Investigate Suspected Foul Play

Bengaluru: A 41-year-old man drowned in a swimming pool at Best Club in RR Nagar 4th Stage last week, according to police reports. The victim, identified as Dayanand from Gattigere, had gone swimming with four of his friends on August 17.

Later that evening, Dayanand’s wife received a call from one of his friend’s wives, informing her that Dayanand had been hospitalized. As per the police report, Dayanand’s friends stated that he had ventured into the deeper section of the pool between 3:40 pm and 4 pm, where he tragically drowned. Despite efforts by lifeguards and his friends to rescue him and rush him to the hospital, Dayanand passed away at 7:55 am on August 18.

Dayanand’s wife has expressed suspicions of foul play surrounding his death. The RR Nagar police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and initiated an investigation into the incident.
